Parts of South Kashmir’ shuts to mourn militant killings

Anantnag, Dec 30 : A complete shutdown on Sunday is being observed amid chilling winter in South Kashmir’s Pulwama town and its adjoining areas to mourn the killings of four militants.

Four Jaish militants were killed in an encounter in Hajin Payeen area of Rajpora village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

All shops and other business establishments are closed while traffic is also thin on roads.

The security forces are deployed at many locations in parts of Pulwama to thwart any “element of violence”.

Meanwhile authorities at railway suspended train services from Banihal to Srinagar as a precautionary measure while on wards is playing as per schedule.
