Rapido Operating Illegally in J&K, Action Ordered: Transport Commissioner

Jammu, May 11: J&K Transport Commissioner Vishesh Pal Mahajan said bike taxi service Rapido is operating illegally in the Union Territory as it has no valid license under the J&K Motor Vehicle Aggregator Policy.

He said several complaints were received regarding the service and warned that users and riders would operate at their own risk. Officials have been directed to take action against the platform.

Mahajan also said Ola and Uber have received permission to operate in J&K but are yet to start services.
