Ganderbal, May 11 : In view of the increasing water level and strong currents in River Sindh at Wayil, Ganderbal Police issued a public advisory urging residents, tourists, visitors and particularly youth to stay away from the river banks to avoid any mishap.
Police officials cautioned the public against bathing, swimming or taking selfies near vulnerable stretches of the river, stating that the fast-flowing waters pose a serious threat and can lead to tragic incidents.

Seeking cooperation from the public, Ganderbal Police urged people to strictly adhere to safety guidelines and advisories issued by the administration for protection of human lives.
