Gund, June 10th: Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), G. P. Singh, visited 118 Battalion at Gund and stayed overnight at the unit headquarters as part of his tour to review security and operational arrangements in the area.
During the visit, the DG inspected the battalion’s infrastructure and assessed various facilities available to personnel. He also interacted with officers and jawans, appreciating their dedication and commitment towards maintaining peace and security.
The DG held discussions with key stakeholders and was briefed on the operational activities being carried out in the battalion’s Area of Responsibility (AOR). He reviewed the overall security situation, operational preparedness, and welfare measures for the troops.
The visit underscored the CRPF leadership’s focus on strengthening operational efficiency, enhancing coordination, and boosting the morale of personnel deployed in the region.
