Srinagar, July 28th: Jammu and Kashmir Health and Medical Education Minister, Sakina Itoo, on Tuesday visited the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) to review the treatment being provided to the injured Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims admitted to the hospital.
During the visit, the Minister met the injured pilgrims and interacted with doctors and hospital officials to assess their health condition and the medical care being extended to them.
She instructed the hospital administration and medical teams to ensure the best possible treatment, round-the-clock monitoring and all necessary healthcare support for the speedy recovery of the injured. She emphasized that there should be no compromise in providing timely and quality medical care.
Ms. Itoo also reviewed the hospital’s medical arrangements and commended the doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers for their dedicated services in treating the injured pilgrims.
Praying for the early recovery of the injured, the Minister reiterated the Jammu and Kashmir Government’s commitment to extending every possible assistance and ensuring comprehensive medical care for all affected pilgrims.
