Srinagar, Aug 4: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has ordered the transfer and posting of several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the AGMUT cadre, assigning two officers to Jammu and Kashmir while transferring another to Andhra Pradesh as part of its latest administrative reshuffle.
According to the official order, Anmol Rathore, a 2025-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Andhra Pradesh.
In the same order, Gaurav Yadav and Seerat Baji, both IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre, have been posted to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The transfers take immediate effect.
The latest postings are part of the Centre’s ongoing administrative exercise to streamline cadre management and strengthen governance across states and Union Territories under the AGMUT cadre. The MHA periodically carries out such transfers to meet administrative requirements and ensure optimal deployment of officers.
The AGMUT cadre comprises IAS officers serving in Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and the Union Territories, including Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Ladakh, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
