Srinagar, October 28: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat and General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s Srinagar-based XV Corps, Lt Gen Balbir Singh, on Wednesday reviewed ongoing security operations in South Kashmir.
The review was attended by officers and formations deployed across the region, officials said.
Kashmir Zone Police confirmed the meeting in a post on X, stating that the DGP, along with the GOC of XV Corps, reviewed ongoing operations with all formations deployed in South Kashmir.
The meeting focused on assessing the operational situation and reviewing activities being carried out by security formations in the region.
The review comes amid continued coordination between the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Army to oversee the security situation and ongoing operations across South Kashmir.
Officials did not disclose further details about the operations discussed or indicate whether any fresh directions were issued during the meeting.
