DDC Baramulla Chairs Traders Meet, Reviews Availability of Essentials

Baramulla, 27 February: District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Dr G N Itoo today chaired a meeting of representatives of various trade federation bodies of the Baramulla town to review the availability of essential commodities in the wake of current prevailing situation that disrupted the normal life in the valley.

On the occasion, a threadbare discussion with regard to availability of essential services and commodities was held wherein the DDC was briefed by the representatives about the supply and stock position. He was informed about the limited stock of some essential commodities including fuel wherein the DDC assured that all the commodities shall be facilitated in sufficient quantities  shortly.

Moreover, the DDC reviewed the current law and order situation wherein he was briefed by the SSP Abdul Quyoom about the current situation in the district. The SSP  urged people not to get panic and impressed upon them not to heed the rumours.
