Dr Jamsheed Jameel son of Pro Freedom Leader Mohd Ismail Mir, and Nephew of Prominent Writer Ghulam Nabi Zahid and President Electrical Employees Union Bandipora Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, Chaharum was observed at his native village Watapora in Bandipora District on Saturday.
A large number of people from different walks of life visited the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.Mir Family particularly Mohd Ismail Mir, Ghulam Nabi Zahid and Aijaz and Bhat meanwhile, thanked all those people from different political, social and other walks of life who visited them or called them over phone paying condolences.
In this hour of grief, when we were devastated by the Dr Jamsheed’s demise. All those who visited us made us feel like strong to bear this loss,” they said. They expressed gratitude to all the political, religious, social, print and electronic media personalities, lawyers, doctors, columnists, businessmen, neighbours and others who came to bandipora and offered condolences to them. They also thanked all women participants who “despite their personal and domestic engagements took all the pains to reach the residence of Dr Jamsheed.
