After eight weeks Karvan-e-Aman bus to Pok resumes

Srinagar : After remaining suspended for last eight weeks, Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad resumed on Monday.


Officials while confirming to Kashmir Despatch said that the weekly bus with three PaK residents left Srinagar this morning for Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector to cross over to PaK.
Officials said that the exact number of passengers travelling will be known only in the evening.

The Karwa-e-Aman bus service earlier was suspended due to the damaged Kaman Aman Setu Bridge which connects the India and Pakistan in Uri area of north Kashmir.
