Government high school Bimayar is located adjacent to water canal used by lower Jehlum hydro project. Locals and school authorities claim that due to no boundaries between school and canal their is always a risk of miss happening when students come and leave school. There has been many incidents of drowning in the canal in past years which has raised concerns among locals. Kashmir Despatch helping people in raising their voice for government actions.
