Illegal timber siezed in Baramulla village

Baramulla, Jun 30 : A team of forest department seized illicit timber on the intervening night of June 29 and 30 in Baramulla village.

A team of forest protection force on specific inputs laid a naka at Jhuhama crossing, during the naka one illicit timber vehicle was siezed and two persons boarding the vehicle were held.

A forest officer also confirmed the incident to Kashmir Despatch and said that two persons boarding the vehicle carrying illicit timber were held. Officer said that the vehicle along with illicit timber also siezed. Officer said that department will be always strict against those smugglers.
