‘Facility provide Cutting-edge technology to revive Saffron industry’

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 03: Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi today visited India International Saffron Trade Center Dusoo, Pampore.

He was accompanied by Joint Director Agriculture Inputs, Deepak Kumar Kuchroo and other senior officers of the department.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Agriculture said that India International Saffron Trade center is one of the best in Asian sub-continent and the facilities being provided to the saffron growers is all set to provide Cutting-edge technology to revive Saffron industry. He said to preserve the identity of the heritage crop of Saffron, the trade centre will prove to be a vital institute wherein all parameters from stigma separation to marketing will be available to the growers and that too at their doorsteps.
