Srinagar : A 37 year old woman sarpanch died of a heart attack in South Kashmir’s Qazigund district on Wednesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a 37 year old Masrat Jan wife of Mohammad Ashraf Baht resident of Sengran Qazigund died due to a heart attack on Wednesday afternoon.
A police official also confirmed the death of woman sarpanch and said that she was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
Hospital authorities told Kashmir Despatch that post-mortem will be conducted to know the exact cause of death of an woman sarpanch.
