Srinagar, 18 Dec 2019. With the aim of motivating the youth to pursue sports activities, Paribal Tekri Army Camp (under the aegis of Watlab Military Garrison) felicitated all the participants of recently conducted Chinar Martial Arts Premier League.
What merits attention is that 23 out of 26 participant’s bagged medals in both Kick Boxing and Wushu. All the participants belong to different parts of Bandipora where-in a total of 16 Children were selected from the recently conducted Martial Arts Camp and ten children were selected from AGS, Bandipora.
Chinar Premier League was conducted at Shalateng Military Garrison, Sharifabad, from 09 to 12 December 2019. The outstanding performances of the participants is a testimony of their talent and motivation, which was further invigorated by the felicitation ceremony today.
Mr Fasil Ali, Chairman, Ali Sports Academy, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Army. He mentioned that training camp and Chinar Premier League have not only channelised the strength and energy of the youth in the right direction but also motivated the youth to win medals at National and International level.
