Srinagar, Feb 4 : Jammu and Kashmir Employees Coordination Committee (JKECC) Non Gazzetted on Tuesday, demanded redressal of the problems, faced by government employees working in various sectors.
In a press conference held in Srinagar the President of JKECC President Shah Shakeel appealed for justice for empanelled Rehbar e Taleem (RTs) teachers, who are waiting for orders. While appealing the advisor to Lt. Governor K K Sharma to do justice with the RTs, he said that a committee was recently formed for the purpose, but nothing has come up so for in this direction.
While demanding regularization of thousands of daily wagers, casual laborers and seasonal workers, Shah said that they are waiting for their confirmation are waiting for their regularization and demanded their confirmation also demanded minimum wages for daily wagers and all categories of casual and seasonal laborers.
He also demanded cut in the interest rate of loans to government employees on the pattern Jammu and Kashmir Bank has set for its own employees. He said that an interest rate of 12% for 4, 50000 government employees is a total injustice with them, which should be revisited and reduced to help them to address their financial problems.
