Siege and searches in Bandipora villages

Srinagar : Government forces on early Tuesday laid siege around at least three villages in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said mixture of forces comprising army, police and Central Reserve Police Force ( CRPF) laid a siege in three villages which including SK Bala , Sadunara and Banyari Hajjin of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official said house-to-house searches have been started in the villages following specific inputs about the presence of militants there.
