Government asked Private Schools to refrain from such dummy drills

Srinagar Mar 30: As the government had ordered for 21 days complete lockdown across the country to combat COVID-19, However, some private schools across Kashmir valley had fixed a deadline for students to deposit their monthly tuition fee, and insisting the parents receive home assignments on the due date of this month by sending messages to parents.


While taking cognizance of such dummy drills by some irk private schools, the Principal Secretary to Government school education today issued an order for such unethical practices during this global uncertainty, will be dealt strictly according to rule of law.

Meanwhile, it has also complained that some schools have charged the students for online classes and harassed the teachers to submit their off and online assignments on the same day. It is impossible to do so in such an environment of fear and distress.


The authorities had directed all CBSC/BOSE affiliated schools to adhere the order issued by the government(copy in possession with this newspaper) in which it has been mentioned that the last date of the tuition fee has been extended to 30th April and it has also been directed to school administration not to charge the Students for any assignment, directed the school management to forward the guidelines to school administration with immediate effect.
