Srinagar, April 07 : A residential house was partially gutted in a fire mishap in Heeward area of South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district on Monday night.
Fire broke out in the residential house of Javeed Ahmed of Heeward, resulting in partial damage to the house.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said as soon as fire broke out, local youths got together which were immediately joined by fire fighters brought fire under control and prevented from spreading to nearby residential house.
All the items inside the house including valuable records, clothing and food grains were destroyed in the mishap.
The cause of fire was not known immediately.
Meanwhile police took cognizance of this fire mishap.
