Orders Just look Beautiful on Papers, Here it Proves
Residents of Uri yet to receive, first home delivery order as promised by Govt.

Uri, April 12: Government of India assured common man before taking a lockdown call, that essential commodities will be made available and can be deliver to their doorsteps by concerned district authorities.
Orders just look good on papers claimed border residents of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after admin failed to deliver doorstep order of essential commodities amid this COVID-19 scare.
The residents in a chat with Kashmir Despatch Correspondent said that tough 17 days of COVID-19 lockdown have passed but they are suffering in any absence of supply to their doorsteps.
Mohammad Iqbal a local resident of Uri told this newspaper that Govt. Was claiming that assistance will be provided to far flung areas as amid this rapid increase of deadly virus but, no such efforts have been made on groud to redress the concern of general public. He said it’s unfortunate that government is visible only on papers at this spare of time.
This is not an end, the people residing near Line of Control (LOC) is living a hell life as they don’t have excess to move out because of COVID-19 lockdown and don’t have any source of food to feed themselves said Mohammad Shafi another upset resident of Border town.
Mir Wali Mohammad a resident of Boniyar talking with Kashmir Despatch said a condition is so poor that we can’t effort to buy necessary drugs as no chemist shops have gone out of stock.
While there is shortage of essential commodities, many Shopkeepers have strated loot by charging higher price said Roshan Din.
Meanwhile Sub Divisional Magistrate Uri Reyaz Ahmad Malik told Kashmir Despatch that they have fear, home delivery may lead to more cases of deadly virus. He said already COVID-19 cases in huge numbers have been recorded from Border town. SDM said we don’t want that delivery men would come for the work, they may get infected too, while adding they have constituted teams who are spreading awareness in evey cornor of Uri sector and are identifying those needy families who require essential commodities at earliest.
After all, it looks government of India and UT is just making fake promises as per across the country are suffering without proper source to feed themselves.
