Man killed, another Injured in Bandipora road mishap

Bandipora, May 03 : A 30 year old man was killed while another Injured in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Bandipora village on Sunday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a four wheeler vehicle bearing registration JK15 3734 met with an accident at Turkpora village in Bandipora after the driver lost control over his speed resulting in serious injuries to two persons travelling in the car.

However both were rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared one among dead on arrival while another is undergoing treatment.

A police officer also confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch said one person lost his life in the accident while another is undergoing treatment and is said to be stable. The officer identified deceased as Abdul Kareem of Turkpora while injured has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad. The officer further said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.
