Srinagar, May 06 : One more militant has been killed in an on going encounter between Government forces and militants in Beighpora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district taking the toll 2.
A senior police official told Kashmir Despatch that one more militant has been killed in the operation which is still underway. He said there are chances of more militants hiding inside the house, sofar two have been killed and operation is in progress.
Earlier, A joint team of Army’s 55 RR, SOG and CRPF launched cordon and search operation in the area following inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile internet services across Kashmir has been suspended as a precautionary measures in wake of this gunfight.
