Search operation in Ananthnag village enters 5th day

Srinagar, May 09 : Search operation continued for the fifth consecutive day today in South Kashmir’s Ananthnag village.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a joint team of Army’s 19 RR, 164 BN CRPF and SOG Dooru launched a cordon and search operation in Aradehruna village of Ananthnag on 05 May evening and since then is continued in the area.

An official also confirmed this 5 day long search operation and said following inputs about the presence of militants in the area operation is underway.

Pertinently, On Wednesday Hibz chief commander Riyaz Naikoo’ his associate and two other militants were killed in two separte encounters in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
