COVID-19 Lockdown likely to be extended in J&K

Srinagar May 17: Jammu and Kashmir administration is likely to extend the lock down amid surge in the coronavirus cases.

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole talking to Kashmir Despatch said, they have received guidelines from the MHA.

We have received the guidelines on lockdown from the government of India and we are looking into the same. You will come to know about future course of action by this evening he said.

Earlier Maharashtra and Punjab extended lockdown till May 31 to contain spread of COVID-19.
