Militant held In Shopian

Srinagar, June 12 : A Lasker-e-Toiba Militant was apprehended by forces in South Kashmir’s Shopian district during a cordon and search operation.

Sources told Kashmir Despatch, an active Militant of LeT was apprehended by Joint Forces in Khojpura area of Zanipora in District Shopian.

An official told Kashmir Despatch one militant Zakir Ahmed Khan, recently joined LeT militant from Khojpura, Dist Shopian was apprehended today in wee hours during a cordon and search operation which was Jointly launched by Army’s 1 RR and SOG Zainapura at Khojpura.

He said one 9 MM Pistol and other war ammunition was recovered from his procession.
