Indo-Pak armies trade gunfire along LoC in Tangdar sector

Kupwara, June 16 : The armies of India and Pakistan Tuesday exchanged gunfire along the line of control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Officials told Kashmir Despatch, that this morning Pakistani rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along line of control LOC in Tangdhar sector by firing mortals and other weapons, which was retaliating befittingly.

A police official also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch, said this morning cross border shelling reported at Tangdar sector, he however said no loss of life or Injury was reported in the shelling.

Pertinently, last week a woman was killed and two other civilians were injured in cross border shelling at Hajipeer sector of Uri.
