Two civilians injured in Cross Border shelling in Uri : Police

Baramulla June 20 : Police on Saturday said that civilians were injured in cross border shelling in Hajipeer sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

SSP Baramulla Abdul Qayoom confirmed to Kashmir Despatch said two persons were injured in ceasefire violation at Hajipeer sector of Uri, he said both are said to be stable.

Locals sources told Kashmir Despatch that two civilians identified as Ahmed sheikh age 60 years and Maqbool Mangral (20) became fresh victim of this border shelling, they said both were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.

Pertinently, last week a woman was killed and two civilians were injured in cross border shelling in Hajipeer Sector of Uri.
