Growing scare of COVID-19 positive cases in Sopore, Div Com takes stock

Sopore, June 27 : As authorities in north Kashmir’s Sopore reimposed COVID lockdown restrictions after the rapid growth of COVID-19 positive cases, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole Saturday visited the town to review measures being taken by the administration for prevention and control of Covid-19.

According to Kashmir Despatch Correspondent Peerzada Tahir, Divisional Commisioner on Saturday visited town and took stock of the arrangements put in place for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. He also inspected the administrative quarantine SRM Welkin.

During the visits Div Com directed health functionaries of Sopore to gear up their activities and work with zeal, zest and dedication so that the patients so far affected with virus are provided better health care facilities.

As reported Kashmir Despatch On Friday late Evening Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G.N Itoo in a statement ordered Complete Lockdown in town which begins from today after town witnessed rapid growth of COVID-19 positive cases since past week.
