J-K toll 116
Srinagar, July 02 : Kashmir recorded 9 COVID related deaths in a day, taking the overall toll in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to 116.
Another Shopian resident died at SKIMS medical institute Srinagar this evening.
Medical Superintendent SKIMS Professor Farooq Jan told Kashmir Despatch that a 65-year-old of Nadigam Shopian was admitted in infectious diseases block on July 01 as a coronary artery disease with B/L CAP with type 1 respiratory failure and died this evening.
This is 9th death due to COVID-19 in a single day in Kashmir Division.
