6 civilian injured in Kupwara Border shelling

Kupwara, August 7 : Atleast six civilians were injured in a cross border shelling in north Kashmir’s Kupwara District on Friday.

Officials sources told Kashmir Despatch that three more civilians were injured in Kupwara cross border shelling.

An army official told this newspaper that Sir,three persons injured at Rangward Chowkibal due to shelling who idenfied as Hamida Begium wife of Mohd Akbar Khan of Rangward age 42 years Zakir Khan son Ab Rashid Khan of Rangward age 24 years, Nesser Ahmad Khan of Ab Rashid Khan of Rangward age 26 years all three injured persons shifted SDH Kralpora.

Earlier, In exchange of fire that took place between India and Pakistan armies on LoC in Kupwara three civilians were injured, who were identified as Mohammad Arif, Mohammad Yaqoob Mir and Rafaqar. While as injured civilians have been referred to hospital for treatment.
