Police solves theft case in Ananthnag

Ananthnag, Sep 22: Police in South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district on Tuesday claimed to have recovered stolen gold worth lacs.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch police said on 14-09-2020 , a written application was received by PP Shearbagh from a complainant residing in Dialgam that some gold items had been stolen by some unknown persons at Mattan Chowk.

In this regard case FIR No 302/2020 u/s 380 was registered at PP Shearbagh.

Police Anantnag swiftly swung into action upon this information and initiated thorough investigation into the matter and recovered stolen gold worth lacs from one accused lady from TB Shah (name withheld).

The locals of the area have hailed the swift action and professional approach manifested by Police Anantnag in solving this case.
