IED recovered, diffused in Patta

Pattan, 03 oct : Security Forces detected an improvised explosive device (IED) beneath a small bridge at Hanjiwera pattan of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district .

An official told Kashmir Despatch that on Saturday morning security forces detected improvised explosive device (IED) beneath a bridge and accordingly called bomb disposal squad.

However Bomb disposal Squad reached to the spot to examine the object, and later diffused it safely, he added.

An official also confirmed the recovery as well as defusing of an IED.
