Chadoora, October 07: The residents of Chadoora are up in arms against the Public Works department for not macadamizing their damaged road.
The residents said that the department macadamized only few kilometers of the road but left a damaged road without macadamizing.
Several vital roads in Chadoora belt in very bad conditions for the past many months now as locals allege that authorities have forgotten to macadamize them.
“But this road has been neglected by the authorities even though the locals have complained about it many times,” the local residents said.
“This road was macadamized a decade before and is lying in Shambles but no attention is being given to the repeated requests of local residents” said Waris Ahmad, a local resident.
The local said they approached the concerned authorities several times with a plea to macadamize the road, but all in vain as nothing has been done in this regard.
“We want to bring it to the notice of concerned officials of R&B Division Chadoora to improve the condition of the road at the earliest so that we don’t have to suffer anymore,” they said.
