Baramulla, Jan 08 : The District Administration Baramulla on Friday organised a dry run of Covid-19 vaccine in the district hospital to assess operational feasibility and identify the challenges prior to actual implementation of COVID-19 vaccinations.
As per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G.N Ittoo carried out the process at the hospital, besides Chief Medical Officer Dr Deeba Khan, Medical Superintendent of DH Bla Syed Masood Bhukari, and other officials from health were present on the ocassion.
Talking with Kashmir Despatch DC Baramulla said the sole purpose of this dry run is to ensure smooth conduct of Covid-19 vaccinations and to check and fill the gaps if any imperative for conducting Covid-19 vaccinations smoothly and successfully in the district.
DC also warned people about Fraudsters who are sending out fake texts offering a Covid vaccine in an attempt to steal personal and financial information.
Pertinently, The scam message reads ‘we have identified that your are eligible to apply for your vaccine’ and then prompts you to click on a link for further information or to ‘apply’ for the vaccine.”
“If you receive a text or email that asks you to click on a link or for you to provide information, such as your name, credit card or bank details, it’s a scam,” the DC Baramulla added.
