Asks people to raise their voice for basic healthcare facilities

Sopore, Jan 22 : Political leader Irfan Ali on Friday appealed the people of Sopore to raise their voice for basic healthcare facilities and requested the UT administration to upgrade the Sub district hospital to the standards of a district hospital.
He appealed the UT administration for a district hospital in Sopore and claimed it need of the hour.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch Irfan said that the health facilities matter the most and SDH Sopore is lacking basic health services to cater to the needs of people of the town and nearby villages.
“Patients are referred to Srinagar hospitals for minor ailments risking their survival. And it is the poor people who suffer the most. Luxury to avail private health care is in reach of only few rich,” Ali added.
He said that a mass movement for District Hospital for Sopore is not a priority but a necessity.
“People from all walks of life must come forward to voice for this long pending demand. #Sopore Deserves District Hospital. It is our collective resolution and responsibility to stand united towards this noble cause. Let us make it possible. Let us join heads and hands to fight for District Hospital for Sopore,” he added.
The political leader from Sopore tweeted about the same and tagged Manoj Sinha in his tweet, appealing for speedy development in this case.
