SOPORE: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday recovered arms and ammunition from a shop in Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A senior police official told Kashmir Despatch that few days back an OGW was arrested in Bandipora, while questioning, he said that arms and ammunition have been placed in Sopore area. Following which a team went there and recovered arms and ammunition.
He added, “Five grenades, 20 rounds and a pistol recovered from a shop in Sangrama Sopore”.
Police officer further added that FIR has been registered and further investigation has been set up. While more arrests are expected in this regard.
