Srinagar, Feb 02 : The army is organising a three-day winter festival at Gulmarg resort in north Kashmir later this week, which would be attended by Bollywood actors Vidya Balan and Arbaaz Khan.
The army in a statement said that the festival will be organised along with Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department that will begin on Saturday this week. The three-day festival, the army said, is being held “as Kashmir emerges from the shadow of COVID-19 and enters a new era of peace and development”.
“Bollywood has come together in this endeavor amd Mr. Arbaaz Khan along with Ms Vidya Balan would be in attendance to inspire the local talents,” the statement said. Other artists performing in the event include Altmash Faridi, Aabid Aly, Shafi Sopori, Zubair Khan, Waseem Ahmed and Umer Rockband.
“The event is being organized after two years and is a great way to announce the re-opening of Kashmir to the world,” the army said.
