Baramulla, February 09: In order to get acquainted about the field functioning of administrative setup, a group of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (KAS) Probationers comprising of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services,Jammu and Kashmir Police (Gazetted) Service and Jammu and Kashmir Accounts (Gazetted) Service of 2018 batch undergoing training at Jammu and Kashmir Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA) today visited Baramulla and called on Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad.
While sharing his services experiences, the DC exhorted upon the Probationers to work with dedication and honesty as they are the future planners. He reminded them that people have high expectations from them and urged upon the young officers that planning and implementations should be done keeping in view the ground situation of the area. Moreover the DC asked them to work with devotion, dedication and for upliftment of the poor people of Union Territory.
Meanwhile, the Probationers also raised several queries which were replied by the DC.
Later, the group of Probationers conducted a tour of the district to get the idea of field functioning and to have better understanding of the role of administration in delivering services to the common masses.
Earlier, the course coordinators Jehan Jabeen Ara and Dr Bilal appraised the DC about course details of the training module.
ADDC Baramulla Aijaz Abdullah Saraaf, ADC Mohammad Ahsan Mir, Jr Scale KAS officers among other concerned functionaries were present on the occasion.
