Bandipora, March 15: Continuing with tour of remote areas for focused intervention, Joint Director Planning Bandipora Imtiyaz Ahmad on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora conducted an extensive tour of Chandagi area of Bandipora district.
He was accompanied by Xen PMGSY, Dy CEO Bandipora, Xen PDD Bandipora, Xen R&B, BMO Bandipora, Range Officer Forest, NT Bandipore besides PRI functionaries.
While interacting with the people at Chandaji village Imtiyaz Ahmad said that the interdepartmental issues of PMGSY and PDD have been settled on spot that will pave way for speedy development of road, which is lifeline for the development of Chandagi village.
While inspecting the road he expressed need to realign electric network and has conveyed Xen PDD to do the needful. The visiting team expressed satisfaction over the completion of Health Sub Centre which has been completed by providing gap funding under tribal sub plan.
The compensation issue of Health Sub centre have been entrusted to Revenue / Health Departments to be settled on priority . They also visited School building and interacted with teachers and students. A repair of school building was also demanded which has been entrusted to Deputy CEO Bandipora for resolution. The people of area including PRIs expressed satisfaction over the detailed tour by the district officers that was promised by the Deputy Commissioner during Block Diwas.
