Prominent Political Workers and Women Activists Join Apni Party

SRINAGAR, March 22: Prominent Political workers and women activists from Srinagar and Budgam on Monday joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

The joining ceremonies took place in presence of Party’s Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Spokesperson Javid Hassan Beigh, District President Srinagar Noor Mohammad Sheikh, Provincial President Kashmir Youth Wing Khalid Rathore, Organizer District Srinagar Parvez Ahmad and Zone coordinator Amira Kadal Ajaz Rather.

The new entrants who joined Apni Party included: Former NC Block Secretary Amira Kadal Sheikh Jeelani, Ex-NC Halqa President Women’s Wing Mehjoor Nagar Mrs. Rihana, Ex-NC worker Manjit Kour, Ex-NC worker Mrs. Rafeeqa, Mushtaq Ahmad Ahanger, and Faheem Khursheed. Peer Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh from Khahi Pora-Budgam also joined Apni Party on the occasion.

Welcoming the new entrants into the party-fold, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir said that Apni Party is committed to work for an equitable development of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Apni Party is determined to solve the problems faced by the people at large. They have been conned for so many years by various political parties, however, Apni Party does not believe in emotive sloganeering; instead we focus on realistic issues that affect the routine lives of our people,” Mir said.

He further impressed upon the new entrants to work for the welfare of people and strengthen the party at grass root levels.
