Ganderbal: The Urs Mubarak of Bab-Hanif-ud-din Reshi (RA) celebrated in Yarmukam of Ganderbal district with reverence and religious fervor.
The seven days annual Urs of Hazrat Baba Haneef u Din Reshi Sahab (RA) is being celebrated with religious fervour and enthusiasm. Thousands of devotees are paying obeisance at the shrine of revered saint Hazrat Baba Haneef u Din Reshi Sahab (RA) at Yarmuqam Ganderbal since last seven days for seeking solace and divine blessings.
Devotees from near by villages paid visit at the shrine to take blessing, during the nightlong prayers, the Ulema and Imams threw a detailed light on the life, religious services and teachings and spiritual strength of the Baba-Hanif-ud-din-Reshi (RA) who had devoted his whole life to the service to and preaching of Islam.
Thousands of devotees without distinction of cast from all over the District pay their respects at the holy shrine with their heartfelt desires and cherished wishes and return brimful with the fruition of their inner aspirations, for the last years the holy shrine of Baba-Hanif-ud-din (RA) has ever been spiritual center of devotion and symbol of inspiration to the seeker of truth and perfection.
Every year, we celebrate the Urs Mubarak with grace and pride, were devotees across various areas visit the shrine come to seek the blessing of the Wali Allah, Rameez Bhat of local said.
Special prayers were held for peace and prosperity of Muslim Ummah especially the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The devotees during the Urs prayed for long-lasting peace in Kashmir and sought peace, blessings and mercy from Almighty Also Dua e Majlis And Fateh khawani was offered by the devotees.
We would like to say that may God give us success and fortune through this Saint,a local masjid imam said He said Sufism defines Kashmir society. Such was the influence of Sufism that it constituted superstructure and sub-structure values and belief systems in the people of Kashmir.
