Sopore, Mar 25 : Residents of Haritar Rakh e Hygam area of Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district claimed that years have passed since we residents are demanded redressal of our roads problem.
The residents of Haritar Soore on Thursday up in arms alleged the officials of concerned department and said they are not inviting any tender for the repair of this road. “Due to the dilapidated condition of the road the commuters are facing problems.
They said that the road which connects area with many other villages give nightmarish experience to residents and transporters as the road has been totally tattered. The road has potholes at many spots.
Talking with Kashmir Despatch the residents said that we had been facing nightmarish experience to reach their houses. The sufferings would double during raining due to bad condition of road.
They however, appealed concerned authorities again to look into the matter and fulfill their demand at the earliest.
Talking with Kashmir Despatch over the phone Shabir Ahmad in-charge officer of JKPCC said that before two months only this road was switched to JKPCC as earlier it was under world bank. He said tenders has been issued and soon work will be started on the said road.
