Sopore: A skill center was Sunday inaugurated by Rouble Nagi at Shah-e-Hamdan institution for Women & Youth in Sopore area of north Kashmir.
Rouble Nagi is the founder of Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, an NGO that conducts art workshops for children throughout India.
According to Kashmir Despatch, The skill institution was inaugurated jointly by Rashtriya Rifles Sopore and Shah e Hamdan Institution Sopore.
Talking to Kashmir Despatch, Masrat Rasool Kar, head of the institution said, ” It was a great day. Art Workshop for children and Youth was followed by beautification drive at Degree college Sopore. We at Shah-e-Hamdan institution also inaugurated a skill center for Women & Youth in Sopore.”
“Let’s empower our women by making them financially independent.
With an aim to make a change and empower the women and make them financially independent, we have started the skill center. I will always support the women of our area and help them to be independent,” Kar said.
She said that her job is to boost the women of the town and to boost their confidence, so that they can live a better life and cannot be dependent on family.
