Young Sarpanch appeals Administration to impose covid lockdown in JK

The youngest Sarpanch from border town of Uri Tuesday appealed JK UT administration to impose strict covid lockdown amid the rising cases of Coronavirus and deaths occurring in the union territory.
The Sarpanch asked UT administration as why is the administration in a deep slumber and not caring about the protection of people.
“Why is our administration waiting for a Delhi Like situation in Jammu and Kashmir. I appeal our administration to chalk out a plan and plan for a complete and strict lockdown and save the lives of people here in JK,” Faisal Iqbal Khan, the youngest sarpanch and president Border youth Association said.
He said that people are now ready for a lockdown as everyone among us is watching young and old dying due to this deadly virus.
“It is need of the hour to impose a strict covid lockdown to tackle this deadly virus. I can’t understand why is our administration so adamant in not imposing a lockdown at a time when we are watching devastation in neighboring states,” Faisal added.
He also appealed mohalla committee heads, religious clerics and civil society members to appeal everyone to follow SOPs and other guidelines to break the chain and stop the spread of Coronavirus.
