SRINAGAR, June 28: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday expressed deep shock and grief over the cold blooded killings of an SPO, his wife and daughter in Hariparigam village of Awantipora area on Sunday.
In a statement issued here, Bukhari described the killings as heart-wrenching and extremely inhuman. “These killings only add to the sufferings and miseries of people in J&K. I have always reiterated that violence in any of its manifestations and motivated by any of the extremist ideologies in the world only beget violence and yield nothing positive for a human civilization,” he added.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Bukhari prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and endurance for the kith and kin, relatives, friends and colleagues of the deceased to bear this huge and irreparable loss.
He urged the J&K government to take a review of the security situation and take all necessary measures to prevent such attacks on soft targets.
