Langate, July, 14: Qaziabad Development initiative (QDI) today convened a day long meeting in Kralgund Block of Kupwara to discuss the current political situation and other developmental scenario of the Langate constituency.
The meeting was presided over by Chairman Mohd Munawar Khawja and was attended by various senior citizens, civil society members, youth besides various people from other walks also joined the programme, Adv Pirzada Zakir , Bilal Ahmad Baba, Zahid Hassan , were also present in the programme.
Threadbare discussion on the present political situation also held in the programme.
Addressing the meet of Kralgund Block of Kralgund area, Chairman QDI Mohd Munawar Khawja said that QDI formation was based upon the necessity of rising up from a tumultuous situation and speaking up for the people of Langate constituency while it the people of J&K deemed themselves totally helpless and unrepresented.
The need is for truth and I won”t promise you anything that is not deliverable,” he told the participants.
Retired Administrative officer Mohd Munawar Khawja further said that politics in the Kashmir Valley has been of lies and deceit, and this needs to be changed.
On the ocassion, various Panchayat members and prominent political activists were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, sources said that Mohd Munawar Khaja will likely join the political party.
