Srinagar, Aug 08: Kashmir based independent production house Kashmir Originals released Incredible fusion of folk & western Instruments on a popular composition by Mr. Rashid Jahangir known as “Deedar” on Thursday, August 5.
‘Deedar’ is the fusion of folk & western Instruments on a Sufi track written by Sheikh Shaban, priorly composed & performed by Famous Kashmiri singer Mr. Rashid Jahangir. The new version is sung by local singer Yawar ali and recomposed by music producer/ director Rishab Raino.
New version of this song has been Launched with a motive to Promote Kashmiri folk and Sufi music with the new recreated music for which a group of local youngsters have come forward.
“Mr Jahangir gave Kashmir a very beautiful composition which kashmir was looking for, we tried to blend the two most Powerful genres ie; ‘Folk’ & ‘Western’, hence, a whole different shape was given to the track but the love and affection towards the supreme soul is the same.” Said music producer / director of song, Rishab Raino.
The music video ‘Deedar’ is an attempt to highlight the daily life of Kashmir and to promote the rich heritage, arts, culture and beauty of the valley. The video is directed by Sanna bhatt and Rj Umar Nisar featuring young local actress Bismah meer.
