Sopore : Security forces on Saturday evening launched a cordon and search operation in north Sopore Sopore.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that Army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF sealed Sopore’s Iqbal Market and sealed all entry and exits points in the area.
SSP Sopore Sudhanshu Verma also confirmed this cordon and search operation to Kashmir Despatch and said anti-militancy operation has been launched following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
