Jammu 04Sep; On 13th july, one Rakesh Gupta approached PS Khour with a complaint that his auto load carrier was stolen from Khour area. On this an FIR No 51/2021 u/s 379 IPC was registered.
Special team of Police Station Khour led by Inspr. Balwinder Singh SHO comprising PSI Akhil Sen alongwith police personnel of PS was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Varun Jandial, SDPO Akhnoor.
In a statement issued to CNS, during investigation Police team on the basis of technical inputs and human int, arrested the accused person namely Ajay Kumar S/O Bihari Lal R/O Palatn Tehsil Khour District Jammu from Shahpur Kandi Pathankot Punjab and on his disclosure seized Auto bearing registration no JK02AS-6105 from Pathankot Punjab.
The accused is also involved in other theft cases and as such more recoveries are expected.
The arrest and seizure was carried out under the guidance of SP Rural Sanjay Sharma.
