Apni Party Women’s Wing launches membership drive in Jammu

JAMMU, 10 September 2021: Apni Party Women’s Wing today officially launched a membership drive in Jammu under the leadership of Apni Party Women’s Wing Provincial President, Jammu, Namrta Sharma.
In a function organised here, many women joined the Apni Party and thanked the Apni Party leadership and pledged to work for the womenfolk on the ground with utmost zest and integrity.

While welcoming the new entrants, Namrta Sharma said that with the joining of young and energetic women activists, Apni Party will continue to grow stronger.

Namrta highlighted the key aspects where the womenfolk of Jammu are continuously facing difficulties.

“The party’s accomplishments over the last year demonstrate its sincere and truthful political approach, as well as the overwhelming support of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Namrta asserted.

Namrta further said that the party’s agenda prioritizes women empowerment and the resolution of legitimate complaints.

“The new entrants should work actively for womenfolk welfare in their local areas and make unwavering efforts to strengthen the party at the grassroots level”, Namrta emphasized.

Namrta stated that any women who are committed to improving the lives of women folk are welcome to join the Party. 

The Apni Party is committed to the principle of “politics of truth,” which requires honesty and grassroots initiatives, said Namrta.

“We’ve carefully examined Apni Party’s programmes and vision for Jammu and Kashmir’s development, which includes a comprehensive, holistic, and equitable approach.”, entrants said.

Besides strengthening the party cadres, the new entrants committed to working hard and put in their unrelenting efforts to address public welfare issues in their respective areas.

Meanwhile, vice president of women wing, Pavneet Kour said that the party has gained public support from every nock and corner as the people. “People are joining the Apni Party with enthusiasm due to the policies of the party,” said Pavneet Kour.

Besides, vice president, Jyoti Vaid insisted on the work raising issues of public issues so that they can be resolved at the earliest. “The representation of Jammu has been compromised for the last many decades, but the Apni Party believes in equality and unity of the region,” she added.

District Coordinator, Sarabjeet Kour explained about the membership drive and also highlighted various issues being faced by the women in particular.
